We replaced the roof on a church rectory in a historic district just off a busy main street. The goal was to keep the original look while upgrading to a new Exposed Fastener Metal Roof in the right profile and color.
Once we removed the old roofing, we found many soft spots and replaced large sections of roof decking to make a solid base. The steep pitch made the work tricky, so we used extra safety gear and careful staging, and we planned around pedestrian traffic and parish activities.
The finished roof matches the building’s historic style and adds modern performance. With new decking, underlayment and custom flashings, it’s tighter, longer-lasting and lower-maintenance—without changing the rectory’s character.
