We re-roofed the second story of a clay tile roof and made targeted repairs to tiles on the first story. The goal was to keep the original look while replacing worn materials and addressing leaks.
Working on the second story brought extra challenges: careful access, staging and protection of the lower roof. We lifted and reset fragile tiles, replaced damaged pieces and installed new underlayment and flashings while matching existing tile profiles and mortar color.
The finished roof blends in seamlessly. With refreshed underlayment, repaired tiles and improved flashing at key areas, the home keeps its classic clay tile appearance with better weather protection and lower maintenance.
